Welcome to The Other Side's View !
- Some introduction...
My name is Yamina Badani, I am 22 years old. I am French-Algerian and live in France. I'm an undergraduated student in second year in japanese culture and language, and cross-cultural communication studies at the National Institute of Oriental Cultures and Languages (in french INALCO),in Paris.
- Languages...
I am learning japaneses culture and language at the INALCO. How to write, read and talk, in an other language than our mother tongue, are crucials qualities. But I'm also learning History (traditionnal and contemporary), religions, and some basis in japaneses social history and ideas and thoughts.
- Cross-Cultural Communication...
In second year, I choosed to study Cross Cultural Communication. This schooling is made up of two main sides:
- Communication study: related to business communication, communication strategy, marketing... .
- Cross-cultural médiation approach: related to cross cultural médiation, management, cross-cultural coaching, self-management... .
In this schooling, computing approach of communication is also an important part of this lessons. I learned how to use efficiently virtual tools, and create for example, a blog, flyers or a POM (Petit Objet Multimedia, in french), a Little Multimedia Item.
- The Other Side's View thought...
"The Other Side's View, an other state of mind..." is a work realised for one of my Cross Cultural Communication classe, at INALCO.
"The Other Side's View", what does it mean?
I understand the world through my lens. But what if I try to understand relationship's interaction through someone else's eyes? What will I understand? This reflection is my mindset on this blog. It means that I have to move off the center of my thoughts to understand someone, and build with him/her a relation that makes us able to go futher than our none-understanding, center-values, opposed-sensitivity gaps.
Off course, this blog is my own reflection, I will not try to convince you about anythings. Through this blog, I would like to show you how I think, and how much we can do in a globalized world wich is ours with that kind of thoughts. I hope that maybe, you'll appreciate this approach.
I am passionate of communication strategy, events as well as mediation, and would like to work in this field one day.
Enjoy your trip on this blog !
